How to read the 6800 designation
| Segment | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 6 | Single row deep groove ball bearing |
| 8 | Dimension series 18 (thin section) |
| 00 | Bore code 00 → 10 mm bore. ISO bore code (00–03 = 10/12/15/17 mm; 04 and above = code × 5 mm). |
6800 interchange
6800 is an ISO designation. The boundary dimensions are identical across manufacturers; only suffixes (seals, clearance, cage) differ.
Brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. FULI is not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by these companies. Part numbers are shown for interchange reference only. FULI dimensions, load ratings and speeds come from the FULI catalog.
Tolerances and fits for 6800
FULI makes 6800 to P0 as standard, with P6 on request. P0 is the Normal tolerance class of ISO 492; P6 limits are tighter. These are the P0 limits for the 10 × 19 × 5 mm size.
| Dimension | Nominal, mm | Deviation, µm | Limits, mm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bore d (Δdmp) | 10 | 0 / −8 | 10.000 / 9.992 |
| Outside diameter D (ΔDmp) | 19 | 0 / −9 | 19.000 / 18.991 |
| Width B (ΔBs) | 5 | 0 / −120 | 5.000 / 4.880 |
Δdmp and ΔDmp: deviation of the mean bore and mean outside diameter in one radial plane. ΔBs: inner ring width; the outer ring width has the same limits.
Shaft and housing fits (general guidance)
For an inner ring that turns with a solid steel shaft under normal load, bearing makers’ fit tables give 10 js5 for the shaft of 6800. The housing bore is usually H7, or J7 where the outer ring must not creep.
| Seat | Deviation, µm | Limits, mm | Fit with 6800 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shaft 10 js5 | +3 / −3 | 10.003 / 9.997 | 11 µm interference to 3 µm clearance |
| Housing 19 H7 | +21 / 0 | 19.021 / 19.000 | 0 to 30 µm clearance |
| Housing 19 J7 | +12 / −9 | 19.012 / 18.991 | 9 µm interference to 21 µm clearance |
Taking the loosest and the tightest combination of limits, a P0 6800 on a 10 mm js5 shaft has 11 µm interference to 3 µm clearance. Its outer ring has 0 to 30 µm clearance in an H7 bore and 9 µm interference to 21 µm clearance in a J7 bore.
This is general guidance, not a FULI specification. Heavy or shock loads, a hollow shaft, a thin-walled, split or light-alloy housing, or a large temperature difference between shaft and housing call for other classes, and the drawing of your machine takes priority. A tight shaft fit or a hot housing uses up internal clearance, and that is when C3 is chosen instead of C0.
If the outer ring turns and the shaft stands still, as in an idler pulley or a wheel hub, the fits are reversed: the housing gets the interference fit (for example N7 or P7) and the shaft a sliding one (g6 or h6).

6800 weight, load ratings and speed
FULI's catalog gives the weight of 6800 as about 0.005 kg, so 100 bearings weigh about 0.5 kg and 1,000 about 5 kg before packing. The open, ZZ and 2RS versions share this catalog line.
6800 has a dynamic load rating Cr of 1.65 kN and a static load rating C0r of 0.89 kN. Cr is the load used to work out rating life; C0r is the reference for loads carried while the bearing is stationary or turning slowly. Limiting speeds in the catalog are 30,000 rpm with grease and 36,000 rpm with oil.
Contact seals add friction at the lip, so 6800-2RS usually runs below the speed of the open bearing. Ask us for the limit of the version you order.

6800 versions: open, ZZ, 2RS and C3
Every version of 6800 has the same 10 × 19 × 5 mm boundary dimensions; only the cover between the rings and the internal clearance change. FULI supplies open, ZZ and 2RS versions, with C0 clearance as standard and C3 on request. Other makers write the same covers as 2Z or ZZ for shields and 2RS1, DDU or LLU for contact seals.
| Designation | What it is | Typical choice |
|---|---|---|
| 6800 | Open, no shields or seals | Housings with their own oil or grease supply |
| 6800-ZZ | Two metal shields, non-contact, greased | Motors and fans where dust is light |
| 6800-2RS | Two rubber contact seals, greased | Pumps, farm machinery and other wet or dusty places |
| 6800-ZZ C3 | ZZ with the larger C3 radial clearance | Tight shaft fit or a housing that runs hot |
| 6800-2RS C3 | 2RS with C3 radial clearance | Sealed bearings on a tight fit or running hot |
6800 dimensions in inches
The nearest common inch shaft size to the 10 mm bore of 6800 is 3/8 in (9.53 mm), 0.47 mm smaller than the bore, so 6800 would be loose on it. Inch shafts need an inch bearing, not a metric one with a sleeve or shim.
| Dimension | Millimetres | Inches |
|---|---|---|
| Bore d | 10 mm | 0.3937 in |
| Outside diameter D | 19 mm | 0.7480 in |
| Width B | 5 mm | 0.1969 in |
Converted at 1 in = 25.4 mm and rounded to four decimals. The bearing itself is made to the millimetre sizes.
Grease for 6800
FULI fills sealed 6800-2RS and 6800-ZZ bearings to about 30% of the free internal space as standard. The fill is set on an automatic greasing machine after sample sets are weighed before and after greasing. Sealed bearings are not regreased in service. A different fill level, a low-noise grease or a grease for a stated temperature range can be written on the order; for North America a range of −40 to 120 °C is often asked for.
Relubricating 6800 from the side takes about 0.47 g each time by the formula in our grease calculator: 0.005 × D × B = 0.005 × 19 × 5. This applies to the open 6800 in a housing with a grease supply.
How FULI supplies 6800
The standard 6800 from FULI has GCr15 chrome steel rings and balls, P0 precision, C0 radial clearance and vibration grade Z3V3; P6, C3 and other vibration grades are made on request. Radial clearance is set on automatic assembly equipment and sampled during production. Orders with a noise or vibration requirement are tested set by set before packing.
Rings are marked with a brand you are authorised to use, with the FULI brand, or left neutral, as your order states. The box is printed with the model, precision class and brand.
Inquiries that leave out the prefix or suffix letters are the usual cause of a wrong quote, so write the full designation, for example 6800-2RS C3.

FAQ
What is the difference between 6800 and 6900?
Both fit a 10 mm shaft. 6800 is 10 × 19 × 5 mm and 6900 is 10 × 22 × 6 mm, so 6900 has an outside diameter 3 mm larger (22 mm) and 1 mm more width (6 mm). In FULI's catalog 6900 has a dynamic load rating of 2.43 kN against 1.65 kN and a weight of about 0.009 kg against 0.005 kg for 6800. Choose 6900 for a higher load where the housing has room for it; 6800 keeps the housing smaller.
What is the difference between 6800 and 6700?
Both fit a 10 mm shaft. 6800 is 10 × 19 × 5 mm and 6700 is 10 × 15 × 4 mm, so 6700 has an outside diameter 4 mm smaller (15 mm) and 1 mm less width (4 mm). In FULI's catalog 6700 has a dynamic load rating of 1.01 kN against 1.65 kN for 6800. 6700 suits a housing with less room; 6800 carries more load.
What size is 6800 in inches?
6800 is 0.3937 × 0.7480 × 0.1969 in (10 × 19 × 5 mm, d × D × B). The nearest common inch shaft size to the 10 mm bore of 6800 is 3/8 in (9.53 mm), 0.47 mm smaller than the bore, so 6800 would be loose on it. Use an inch bearing on an inch shaft.
How much does 6800 weigh?
About 0.005 kg in FULI's catalog, so 100 pieces weigh about 0.5 kg before packing. The open, ZZ and 2RS versions share this catalog line.
What is the difference between 6800-ZZ and 6800-2RS?
Both are 10 × 19 × 5 mm, the same as the open 6800. 6800-ZZ has two metal shields that do not touch the inner ring, so it runs with little drag but only keeps out coarse dirt. 6800-2RS has two rubber seals whose lips touch the inner ring; it keeps out water and fine dust at the cost of more friction. FULI fills both to about 30% of the free space.
How much grease does 6800 need?
Sealed 6800-2RS and 6800-ZZ come filled to about 30% of the free space and are not regreased. An open 6800 relubricated from the side takes about 0.47 g each time (0.005 × 19 × 5).
Is 6800 the same size across brands?
Yes. 6800 is an ISO designation, so the bore, outside diameter and width are the same whichever manufacturer made it. Brand-specific suffixes only change details such as seals, clearance or cage.
